The Ministry of Taxes has published a list of taxpayers, in respect of which criminal proceedings were instituted on the facts of tax evasion. In total, the list has more than 500 businesses and individuals.
According to the Ministry, all these facts were investigated and sent to the court.
In 2015 the Ministry of Taxes sent to the court criminal cases against 458 limited liability companies, three joint-stock companies, about 20 other companies of other organizational and legal forms, and 38 individuals.
An analysis of the list shows that many of these entities are one-day companies. For example, the names of Allahyar Mirzoyev and Alakbar Ismayilov appeared in the criminal case filed by the Ministry of Taxes, according to which the state budget missed 7 million manats. -----08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
