The State Securities Committee (SSC) has granted the company Standard Capital licenses to provide brokerage and dealer services on the securities market. The term of the previous license expired in September.
The licenses were issued on October 3 for 5 years. The cost of each license is 5,500 manat. The participants of the securities market believe that it is time to grant licenses for the provision of professional services in the securities market in Azerbaijan in perpetuity. Currently, the SSC issues a similar license for only two types of activities (depository and exchange).
Ltd. Standard Capital has been in force since 2004. Its authorized capital is 200,000 manat. In September, the company almost did not participate in the stock transaction and was not included in the eight brokers.
According to the SSC, Azerbaijan has 14 licenses for brokerage activity, 14 - dealer, 2 - asset management, 3 - depository activities, and so on. Recall that in July of this year, the SSC has changed the requirements for brokerage firms, which have to work under the new rules from 2015 on. --08B-
