Ministry of Environment has taken under the protection the burned forest in Sumgait
Baku/17.10.13/Turan : Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources promptly responded to media reports about the burning and subsequent cutting of trees in a forest in the back of the stadium named Mehdi Huseynzadeh in Sumgait . The area brought under control, said Turan in the press service of the Ministry of Environment .
The preliminary investigation has revealed the fact the fire at the area of ??800 m2 and the burning and cutting down 150 trees species pine and cypress . "The fire occurred a few days ago and was extinguished by local firefighters . Our staff sent an official letter to the law enforcement authorities to identify those responsible , " Turan said the spokesperson of the Ministry of Environment Irada Ibragimov.
