Recently, various media outlets have published articles about the theft of 1.5 GB of information associated with a number of bodies of the Azerbaijan Republic, including the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (http://www.mincom.gov.az).
According to the ministry, after a preliminary investigation by relevant agencies, it was found that the letters and documents related to Azerbaijan and published on various foreign sites are false and biased. The structures mentioned in the documents sent to the Ministry of letters confirming the falsity of the published data.
In addition, officials from the Agency for Information and Communication Technologies in writing Turkey protested and pointed out that they do not have any documents with similar content. Currently, the investigation is continuing.
"It should be noted that today, information security is an important and urgent problem worldwide. Our country is a full member of international organizations such as the Coordinating Center CERT, Trusted Introducer (community, bringing together European teams to respond to information security incidents), the International Forum on Combating Computer Incident - FIRST and others," is said in the release.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology once again calls on the media to be more vigilant when publishing unfounded, malicious and biased information aimed at suppressing the growing prestige and image of Azerbaijan, and do not go on about the intruders. - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
