Mobile operator Nar Mobile considered "telecommunications company of the year"
Local mobile operator Nar Mobile has won the national award Azeri Business Award, traditionally held the magazine Business Time.
As reported in a press release on the eve of the hotel "Four Seasons" was the traditional ceremony of the national award "Azeri Business Award-2012", created by the magazine "Business Time" to support the development of business in Azerbaijan. At the end of the 2012 Nar Mobile awarded the "Telecommunications Company of the Year."
Participating in the ceremony Director General Nar Mobile Kent McNeely thanked the creators of award, and also talked about the current activities and future plans of the company.
"I am very pleased that the company Nar Mobile has once again been awarded this prestigious prize. 2012 for the company Nar Mobile is remembered by a number of innovations and achievements. The number of its subscribers increased 25%. For the first time in Azerbaijan, we have started to provide mobile services in air travel. Besides the fact that we were the official telecommunication partner of the national Olympic team at the Olympic Games in London in 2012, we also completed a number of social projects. I am confident that many advances we achieved in 2012 will continue in 2013, and our subscribers will witness new developments, "said chief executive Kent McNeil.
"Azeri Business Award" is not the first prize, which was awarded the company Nar Mobile. Prior to that, Nar Mobile has been honored with the highest awards in the categories "Telecommunications Company of the Year", "Commercial Company of the Year", etc. - 17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance.
