Perpetual license for Qarant Sigorta
The insurance company Qarant Sigorta received a perpetual license for professional activity.
The press release from the State Insurance Supervision Service noted that this was done by order of the Minister of Finance on July 23 in connection with the expiration of the previous permit.
Recall that the previous license period ended November 27, 2012. The company Qarant Sigorta has become the 25th insurer of the existing 28 to receive a perpetual license. On the approach is the company Qala Hayat Sigorta, the term of the license of which expires on 31 July this year.
Insurance company Qarant Sigorta began operations on November 27 of 2007.
The founder of the company is ZQAN Holding.
The company provides services on 18 types of voluntary and 4 types of compulsory insurance at the head office and three branch offices.
According to the State Insurance Supervision Service, in January-June, its premiums totaled 3.6 million manat and its payments were 1.14 million manat. - 17D-

Azerbaijan’s imports of animal and vegetable fats and oils climbed 23.9% by weight and 16.2% by value from January to September 2024, official data revealed. Despite the uptick in volume, the import cost of these products saw a decrease compared to the same period last year, with the cost per ton of vegetable oil falling by 6.1% to $1,199.6 in 2024, down from $1,278.6 in 2023.
