Profitability of the Central Bank jumped to 1.24% per annum
Short-term notes of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) series 50101638S for a total of 3.903 million manat were placed at the auction, held April 24, 2013.
The announced offer made up 30 million manats, put up for sale were notes for AZN 10 million, and the total demand for them from the two investors exceeded 5.003 mln at face value. Orders were presented in price range from 99.9064% (YTM 1.20%) to 99.8800% (1.54%).
Price cut for competitive bids in the CBA at 99.8951% (1.35%) and the weighted average was 99.9038% (1.24%).
Repayment of the notes will be held May 22, 2013. At the previous session of the Central Bank notes were sold at a price of 1.21% per annum. - 15D -
