Shah-Deniz-2 offers EU a new and independent gas structure, said Oettinger
Azerbaijan has demonstrated its will as a reliable supplier of natural gas. The European Union welcomes the Shah-Deniz-2 project, Gunter Oettinger, EU Energy Commissar, said in Baku at the ceremony of signing of a final investment decision on the Shah-Deniz-2 project.
He said this is a historical decision. EU also welcomes TAP project. “The project opens a new page in cooperation between Europe and Caucasus in the Caspian Sea. This is a brilliant example of cooperation between the companies and the government.
