SOCAR released program to increase production on shallow section of guneshli field
In order to increase production on the shallow section of the oil and gas field Guneshli, SOCAR plans to drill 20 new wells.
SOCAR reported that six out of total number of planned wells have been put into operation and drilling of five another wells is currently in progress.
The works on the Guneshli field are carried out as a part of SOCAR’s plan to stabilize production and increase production on the fields developed by the company itself from 2013 to 2015.
A deep-water section of Guneshli field is being developed by SOCAR jointly with the foreign companies within the framework of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli bloc of fields.—0-

In 2024, Azerbaijan's "Single Window" Export Support Center processed 1,747 requests from businesses and individuals, facilitating the issuance of 3,982 export certificates. According to Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications, these efforts supported export operations valued at USD 288.2 million.
