Staff of State Service for Road Transport Reduced
The Cabinet has reduced the State Service for Road Transport (SSRT) staff from 204 to 145. The decision was made in connection with the establishment of independent bodies for urban transport management in Baku, Ganja and Sumgait in 2015-16.
According to the government decree on October 7, SSRT will have 145 employees, including 75 people of central staff.
SSRT was created in July 2011 under the Ministry of Transport. The areas of its activity are the organization of passenger and cargo transportation within the country and on international routes, control in the field, etc. The service gives the subjects of passenger and freight traffic insignia, which replace the tax in this sector. 08D
