State Securities to Be Re-placed in International Markets
In order to cover the state budget deficit for 2015 will be issued government securities, which will be placed in the international capital markets. This is provided by the presidential decree of 22 December on the application of the AR law "On the State Budget for 2015".
The document entrusted the Ministry of Finance to determine the amount, the maturity and other parameters of the national government bonds and foreign currency denomination.
In 2015, the state budget deficit is set at 1,662 mln. manat. Recall that in March this year, the Finance Ministry placed on international markets bonds totaling $ 1 250 million at 5% per annum with maturity after 10 years. About half of the securities (47%) were bought by US investors. According to the Baku Stock Exchange, the Ministry of Finance placed short-term and medium-term bonds totaling 76.1 million manat in the local market. --08B-
