Head of State Familiarized with Construction of Mosque in Binagadi
President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the work to complete the construction of a mosque in the Binagadi district of the capital, the website www.prezident.az reported.
The new Mosque covers an area of 12 thousand sq. meters. The design of its façade has been completed, as well as the construction of four minarets, 95 meters in height.
The facade of the mosque is decorated in the Shirvan-Absheron architecture style. The work inside the mosque covering an area of 4,200 square meters is coming to an end. The bases of the domes of the mosque have been engraved verses from the Koran. The main dome is 55 meters and the height of the second dome is 33 meters. -05D04-

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
