The subscriber base of "Azersu" increased by 4%
During 2012, the subscriber base of public water distribution company "Azersu" increased by 53 million or 4%.
In the department of public relations of the company they told Turan that the expansion of the subscriber base was made possible not only due to new connections, and eliminate illegal connections to the network.
On the first of January this year, the number of subscribers "Azersu" was 1 138 thousand, of which 96% belong to the category of the population.
Meters installed in housing of 47.5% of the population and 69.2% of other sites subscribers. In Baku 61.2% of the apartments are equipped with water meters. - 08D-
