Paruyr Hayrikyan: I"ve been attempted by those who organized the massacres in Sumgait
"Terrorist attack against me was to make us to turn away from the path of self-determination," said Paruyr Hayrikyan, leader of "National Self-Determination", the presidential candidate of Armenia at a news conference in Yerevan.
An attempt was made on his life on February 1.
Referring to what has happened, he noted that in reality, the attacker was a professional, and did not make any mistake. Hayrikyan stressed that he miraculously survived.
Referring to his previous statements that the attack on him was organized by the former KGB, and now secret services of Russia, Hayrikyan repeated his accusations.
"These forces have made everything so that the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline was not complete; these are the forces that organized the massacres in Sumgait, who previously gave Karabakh, so that we do not have normal relations with neighbors; these are the forces that agreed with Ataturk," said Hayrikyan.
"I appreciate all the positive in the Russians, I have a Russian friends, but it is necessary to speak about negative things," said Hayrikyan. -02D-
