Tomorrow opens exhibition TransCaspian 2014
From June 12 in the Baku Expo Center begins the 13th International Exhibition of Transport, Transit and Logistics TransCaspian 2014. The same platform is shared by the 4th Caspian International Road Infrastructure and Public Transport Road and Traffic 2014.
Today the show organizer, Iteca Caspian, held in connection with this a press conference with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Transport of Azerbaijan.
This year TransCaspian and Road and Traffic show a positive trend, taking the 104 companies from 16 countries. At the same time foreign exhibitors represent 50% of the total number of participants.
TransCaspian is an important transport forum in the Caucasus, which promotes the development of transport infrastructure in Azerbaijan, demonstrating the possibilities of attracting transit cargo through Azerbaijan, finding the best options for cargo transport, said the executive director of Iteca Caspian Farid Mammadov.
The structure of the exhibition TransCaspian 2014 includes companies from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, China, Russia, France, the Czech Republic and Switzerland. Four consecutive years in the exhibition participated Latvian national stand. Among the participants are the Railways of Latvia and Georgia, Access Trans, Alstom Transport, BM Logistics, EGT Express, GA Logistics, Liebherr, Murphy Shipping LLC, Rosen International Logistics CO., L-express LLC, AztransOil, TransQafqaz Transport, TransMashHolding, Ram Trans Group and many other companies of the transport sector.
As in previous years, the exhibition is participated by the Azerbaijan Railways, Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company and State Automobile Service.
The Head of Public Relations of the Ministry of Transport Namik Hasanov said that modern coaches will operate on the railway Baku-Tbilisi-Kars at the end of the year. The speed of trains on the route Baku-Boyuk Kesik will not be less than 100 km / hour.
The 4th exhibition Road and Traffic demonstrates a broad panorama of the road infrastructure in the region, representing companies from Azerbaijan, Germany, Italy, Spain, Singapore, Turkey, Ukraine, the Czech Republic and other countries. The exhibition is attended by Azeryolservis, the Center for Intelligent Traffic Management, Almix Asia, AZD Praha, Azerinshaat, Baku Taxi, Controls SRL and many other foreign companies. The sponsor of Road and Traffic 2014 is the Azerbaijani company AzVirt.
The exhibitions TransCaspian Road and Traffic will be accompanied by a business program. On 13 June the 2nd Caspian International Conference Road and Underground Infrastructure - Solutions to the Problems of Urbanization will start. For Professionals of the railway sector June 12 RM Rail Company will hold a seminar in the Baku Expo Center.
