Center to Resist Repression (CRR) starts its activity
The first working session of the CRR, established at the Institute for Peace and Democracy (IPD) was held on Wednesday. The meeting held with participation of civil society activists, family members of political prisoners and former political prisoners, was closed to the press. Leyla Yunus explained Turan that the Centre in its activities uses methods to defend the dissident human rights structures of the former USSR.
Discussions and decisions, including an action plan will be closed to the media. Information about events and promotions will be available after they take place. The composition and names of members of the Centre, whose main activity will be the fight for the liberation of political prisoners, stop the persecution of citizens for political motives will not be published.—06B-
