Transactions of the VTB Bank-Azerbaijan expand
Since the beginning of the year by means of payment cards the JSC «VTB Bank (Azerbaijan)» sold more than 70,000 transaction, by two times more compared to January 1st.
According to the press release of the financial structure, by December 1, the amount of trading within the mentioned operations reached 15 million manat (+ 60% by the beginning of the year), and the amount of operations to cash money exceeded 13 million manat, of which from ATM were taken 10.3 million manat in cash. Cash withdrawal transactions through pos-terminals of the bank exceeded 2.6 million manat.
Since the beginning of the year the volume of cashless payments by pos-terminals increased by 56% - up to 1.2 mln. AZN. "The positive dynamics is observed in online payments. In January-November the amount of transactions increased by 3 times and amounted to almost 700,000 manat, " said in a statement. By December 1, the number of bank cards in circulation increased by about 3 times - up to 4 thousand.
The JSC «VTBBank (Azerbaijan)» received a license of the Central Bank of AR in March 2009. In the structure of the bank shareholders 51% is owned by JSC VTB Bank, 48.99% - by a group of companies AtaHolding, and 0,1% by an individual. --17D-
