From the economic map of Azerbaijan ZQAN Holding has disappeared.
As a result of the re-branding in many financial transactions the local giant owned by the son of the Minister of Transport Anar Mammadov has changed the corporate name to Garant Holding.
"For eight years, we have achieved considerable success both in services and in manufacturing. Until now, all the projects and all the products presented on behalf of ZQAN Holding, fully paid off in Azerbaijan," is said in the press release, the words chairman of the board of Garant Holding Vagif Hasanov.
Garant Holding has been operating in Azerbaijan since 2005. The Holding includes sectors such as construction materials, insurance, agriculture, telecommunications, hotels, recreational centers, construction and transport. Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
