Azerbaijan to start building a storage facility for green energy

In the first half of the year, Azerbaijan sold $ 11.3 billion worth of oil and gas products on foreign markets (87.63% of the country's total exports), by 12.4% lower compared to January-June 2023.

In January-June of this year, 7 billion 444.22 mcm of associated gas were produced in the oil fields of Azerbaijan (extracted from the subsoil during oil production), by 3.1% less than in the same period last year.

“Azerenergy” OJSC replaces double-chain high-voltage overhead lines with a voltage of 110 kV in Baku, crossing roads in 5 places above the airport highway, Zykh Highway and November 8 Avenue, as well as located along the airport road, with underground cable lines.

“Azerishig” OJSC (the state monopoly on electricity distribution in Azerbaijan) is installing charging stations for electric vehicles in 12 more points in Baku.
