Baku / 13.11.18 / Turan: A fire at the North power station occurred on November 13 in the village of Shuvalan.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), a fire occurred in a spare transformer located in the station.
To extinguish the fire, teams of the State Fire Service were sent; as a result of operational measures, the fire was extinguished.
According to the information, the head of the MES Kamaleddin Heydarov and other senior officials of the ministry arrived at the scene.
According to Azerenergy, the fire did not affect the operation of the general power grid. -- 0--

From January to May 2024, Azerbaijan imported 616.2 thousand tons of oil Russia, a third more compared to last year, Interfax reports. Azerbaijani gas supplies to Serbia may be increased in the foreseeable future, the parties are currently discussing this issue, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan Sahil Babayev told journalists.
