Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived in Moscow on a working visit, during which he held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, including a one-on-one meeting over breakfast, a Kremlin representative said.

On April 1, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree “On a number of measures to ensure the development of the mining (ore) and metallurgical industry in the Republic of Azerbaijan,” outlining a set of steps aimed at accelerating the development of the country’s mining, mineral processing, and metallurgical sectors.

The government is revising the system for disclosing ownership structures of commercial legal entities, replacing the concept of a “beneficial owner” with a more formal classification of shareholders and asset holders. Analysts say the move reflects a broader institutional shift in corporate governance.

Azerbaijan has introduced a new administrative requirement mandating that state registration authorities notify the Media Development Agency within three working days when foreign media entities establish local branches or representative offices, under amendments approved by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
