New forensic examination fees set, raising accessibility concerns

By a decree of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated March 31, 2026, amendments to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Patents” have entered into force. The amendments to the law were adopted by the Milli Majlis on February 10, 2026.

Ilham Aliyev signed decrees on Tuesday approving agreements to expand Azerbaijan’s cooperation in science and higher education with Morocco and Syria, the presidential administration said.

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has signed a decree “On the establishment of a stipend of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for family members of deminers who were killed as a result of an accident caused by the detonation of explosive ordnance during demining activities, or who died from injuries sustained at that time.”
