Peskov: Vladimir Putin has already given an interview to Tucker Carlson
@НОВОСТИ: Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that Vladimir Putin has already given an interview to American journalist Tucker Carlson. According to him, this happened yesterday.
“He has a position that is different from the rest. She is in no way pro-Russian, she is not pro-Ukrainian. She is rather pro-American. But at least it contrasts with the position of traditional Anglo-Saxon media,” said the president’s press secretary.
Peskov also noted that the Kremlin receives many requests for interviews with Vladimir Putin, including from Western media, “which cannot boast of trying to look impartial.”
Dmitry Peskov refused to provide details of the interview.
Former Fox News journalist Tucker Carlson arrived in Russia late last week. Yesterday, February 6, he confirmed that he would interview Putin. He assured that he paid for the trip himself, and preparations for it took several months. According to preliminary data, the interview lasted two hours. The Wall Street Journal claims that the interview will be published on Mr. Carlson's website tomorrow, February 8.
