A youth competition to test awareness of Europe was held in Baku
Baku/24.05.21/Turan: an EU representation to Azerbaijan and Young Ambassadors of Europe jointly organized an Intellectual Youth Competition.
Titled "How well do you know the European Union" competition was held as a part of the festival dedicated to Europe Day.
The competition was attended by young people aged 14-26 from all regions of Azerbaijan. The competition helps to broaden knowledge about history, values, culture, and organizations of Europe in an interactive way.
Selection of competition participants was conducted among 350 applications. They formed 12 teams with 4 participants each.
At the opening of the competition, the head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, Kastutis Jankauskas, noted that friendship begins with acquaintance, study and understanding of each other, and this also applies to partnership between countries. According to him, such events help to deepen cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan.
