Action in Defense of Ilgar Mammadov in Strasbourg
Today in Strasbourg in front of the Council of Europe a protest was held, demanding the release of the leader of the movement REAL Ilgar Mammadov, imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
A group of political emigrants and civil society activists of Azerbaijan raised placards and chanted Freedom to Ilgar Mammadov, Freedom to Political Prisoners.
According to information from social networks, the picketers were supported by a member of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE, the national hero of the country, aviatrix Nadezhda Savchenko.
The action was organized by the international coalition Sport for Law, which brings together 20 human rights organizations. -03B-
