Baku/07.10.23/Turan: Azerbaijan continues its activities related to the creation of transport corridors in both bilateral and multilateral formats, President Ilham Aliyev said at a meeting with Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mehrdad Bazrpash on October 6.

Noting the importance of the beginning of the construction of a road bridge from the village of Agbend to Iran, Aliyev stressed that the laying of roads and railways connecting Azerbaijan and Iran is of great importance for the region and will serve stability and cooperation in it. The Head of State also noted the importance of developing and further expanding the capacity of the North-South transport corridor.
