Armenians reported on the detention of an Azerbaijani soldier in Agdara
Baku/26.08.21/Turan: On August 25 this year, an Azerbaijani serviceman, Jamil Babayev was found and detained in an apartment in the town of Mardakert (Agdara), according to the message of the Armenian media.
A criminal case has been initiated against Babayev for "illegal border crossing" and "espionage". The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has not yet commented on this message.
According to Sputnik Armenia, Jamil Babayev went into one of the town houses where two teenagers were staying at that time, and demanded food and cigarettes. "He was fed following which one of the teenagers promised him to go to the store for cigarettes. Having left he house, the guy did not lose his head and called the police," the message says.
