Armenians who were talking about blockade now refuse to travel to Armenia
Baku/10.05.23/Turan: The International Committee of the Red Cross has not transported sick Armenians from Karabakh to Armenia since April 29. This was reported by the representative of the ICRC delegation in Armenia Zara Amatuni.
She pointed out that after the installation of the Azerbaijani border checkpoint in Lachin, the ICRC transported patients twice: "On April 28, 13 people were transported, and on April 29, another 16. However, after that there was a need for some clarifications, which are now being discussed," she said.
According to the Armenian media, the leaders of the Karabakh separatists have actually imposed a ban on travel through the border checkpoint in Lachin. Thus, the Armenian side is afraid to legitimize the activities of the Lachin border checkpoint, which they hoped to eliminate with the help of Russian peacekeepers. However, according to the recognition of the "state minister" of Karabakh Gurgen Nersisyan, the negotiations of the commander of the peacekeepers, General Lentsov, in Baku on this occasion gave no results. -0-
