Arrests and Pressure on Young Activists
Police and security forces continued harassment and detention of potential participants in today's protest against the soldiers' deaths.
So, arrested were two organizers of this event, members of the youth organization of the Free Youth - Ilkin Rustamzadeh and Dashgin Melikov.
Before his arrest on his Facebook page Ilkin Rustamzadeh managed to write that
he was the organizer of the protest, but he did not give drugs to anyone, as alleged by the DHS and no one got money or called for revolution.
"Tomorrow we will make peaceful and civilized protest against the killing of our soldiers and we will detain the provocateurs ourselves and transfer them to the police."
The police summoned a number of young activists of opposition parties - the Popular Front, Musavat and the Democratic Party. They were asked not to participate in the action, and threatened with arrest. ----16/03B-

Baku's Khatai District Court on 7 November considered a petition to place 'Abzas Media' building director Ulvi Hasanli under house arrest. The hearing took place after the working day at 19.15, lawyer Zibeida Sadygova said. This was due to Hasanli's refusal to participate in the trial online, and he insisted on attending the trial.
