AZAL resumes flights to Israel
Baku/08.10.23/Turan: From October 10, Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) will resume flights to Tel Aviv and back.
At the same time, the company’s message notes, “in case of any changes or updates regarding flights, passengers will be promptly notified.”

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will pay a two-day visit to Pakistan on July 12-13, TASS with reference to the newspaper “The News International.” According to the newspaper, during the visit, Aliyev will meet with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Chief of Staff of the army Asim Munir. Foreign Ministers Jeyhun Bayramov and Ishaq Dar are scheduled to hold talks on bilateral cooperation.

Today, the Khatai District Court extended the terms of pre–trial detention of activists of the Institute of Democratic Initiatives (IDI) Ali Zeynal, Ilkin Amrahov, Ramil Babayev arrested "in the case of Toplum TV" for another 3 months - until October 6, their lawyers reported. According to the defenders, the decisions to extend the arrests are not justified, and an appeal will be filed against them.

Despite severe health problems for the founder of “Toplum TV,” Alesker Mammadli, the court granted the submission and the petition of the investigation to extend the term of his pre-trial detention for another three months, lawyer Agyl Layidj told journalists. According to him, Mammadli's health remains stably serious. At the same time, a biopsy was performed on him in connection with tumors in the thyroid gland only in the left part of the throat, while a large tumor was located in the right part.
