Azerbaijan and Italy strengthen economic ties
Baku/13.02.23/Turan: On Monday, the President Ilham Aliyev received an extensive Italian delegation led by the Minister of Made in Italy Adolfo Ursa.
During the conversation, Aliyev noted the high level of bilateral relations, which is proved by the visit of three Italian ministers to Azerbaijan over the past month.
"During these visits, we discussed issues of cooperation in the military, military-technical, energy, as well as investment and trade areas," Aliyev said.
The head of state noted the special importance of projects in the oil and gas sector, which significantly strengthens bilateral relations. In addition, Italian companies are actively involved in projects in the liberated territories - in Karabakh and East Zangezur.
In particular, he noted the Italian company "Iveco", which has already begun to create its own enterprise in the liberated territories, where trucks will operate.
The meeting participants, touched upon the prospects for cooperation in the field of renewable energy, agriculture, engineering, pharmaceuticals, science and education, and culture, the website of the head of state. ----02D----
