Azerbaijan and the EU intend to expand energy cooperation
Baku / 11.11.17 / Turan: The issues of energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union were discussed on November 11 at the meeting of Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov with the head of the EU mission, Ambassador Kestutis Jankauskas. During the meeting, the mutually beneficial significance of the Southern Gas Corridor project was noted. The Minister noted that the implementation of this project will also promote the development of multilateral cooperation on a vast geography. Yankauskas noted the importance of the "Southern Gas Corridor" in the diversification of Europe's energy supply sources. There was also an exchange of views on the signing of a new partnership agreement between the EU and Azerbaijan, the implementation of the "Eastern Partnership" program, etc.-06D-
