Azerbaijan and the Netherlands will encourage investment
Trade and economic cooperation between the Netherlands and Azerbaijan is developing dynamically. In 2012, bilateral trade amounted to 300 million euros, by two times higher than in 2011, said at a press conference in Baku, Ambassador of the Netherlands Arjen Uijterlinde. According to him, it is expected to further expand economic cooperation.
In 2013, two shopping companies will visit will Azerbaijan, and is expected to sign an agreement on mutual protection of investments. The ambassador pointed to the possibilities of cooperation in the energy, agriculture, water resources, and sport. The press conference was devoted to the Dutch National Holiday – Queen Day, which is celebrated every year on April 30.
