Azerbaijan does not recognize the "parliamentary elections" held by the separatists in the Tskhinvali region (South Ossetia) of Georgia.
Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reiterates its strong support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity, and non-recognition of the "parliamentary elections" in the Tskhinvali region of Georgia on June 8, 2014, according to the foreign ministry statement.
The document also expressed firm conviction that the negotiation process should be continued in a constructive manner in order to achieve a viable solution to the conflict. -06D-
