Azerbaijan Gives Military Infrastructure to Turkish Armed Forces
On July 20 the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on approval of the protocol for the transfer of homes and buildings in the military town Gizil Sharg (Baku) and one terminal at a military airfield in the village Zeynalabdin Tagiyev to the Turkish Armed Forces.
The intergovernmental protocol was signed in Baku on June 3, 2016, the statement published on the website of the President said.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has been instructed to ensure the implementation of the requirements of this protocol. The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has to notify the Government of Turkey about the implementation of all the internal procedures for entry into force of the protocol. -06D--
