Azerbaijani- Spanish Convention on the avoidance of double taxation
Azerbaijan and Spain signed the Convention on the avoidance of double taxation on income and property, and prevention tax evasion. The document was signed in the framework of the official visit to Baku of the Foreign Minister of Spain, Hoche Manuel Garcia- Margaylo .
At the briefing after talks with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, the Spanish Minister announced the readiness of Madrid to develop with Baku political dialogue and cooperation.
"Azerbaijan is an important country for Spain in this region taking into account that Spain opens its representative office in Baku," said Garcia Margaylo.
Mammadyarov, for his part, noted that the current level of relations between the two countries does not correspond to the potential for cooperation and there are broad prospects for its development.
He noted with satisfaction that Spain has always supported the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan ion the issue of the Karabakh conflict.—16D-
