Baku and Vienna to Deepen Energy Cooperation
Presidents of Azerbaijan and Austria - Ilham Aliyev and Heinz Fischer on Monday after talks in Vienna signed the Declaration on relations of friendship and partnership between the two countries.
As noted in the press release of Foreign Ministry, the paper highlights the importance of peaceful settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the basis of the norms and principles of international law and UN Security Council resolutions and the sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of borders.
In addition, the parties taking into account the value of bonds in the energy sector intend to encourage the deepening of cooperation between oil and gas companies of Azerbaijan and Austria in the production, transportation and diversification of transit routes and the development of alternative energy sources. --- 06B –
