Baku Asks Poland to Participate in European Games at High Level
In Warsaw, May 6-7, political consultations were held between the Foreign Ministries of Poland and Azerbaijan. The delegation from Baku was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov.
He held talks with Deputy Prime Minister, Co-chairman of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation Janusz Piehochinski, Foreign Minister Grzegorz Shetina, Deputy director of the National Security Bureau Zbigniew Wlosowicz and others.
During the meeting they discussed issues of bilateral relations, regional security, cooperation in international organizations, and the preparation in the VII meeting of the intergovernmental commission in Warsaw.
Khalafov expressed his hope that Poland will be represented at the European Games in Baku at the highest level.
The Polish side reaffirmed its support for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and the immutability of its position on this issue, according to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Warsaw. -06D--
