Ilham Aliyev receives the head of the EBRD
On May 8, President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, headed by its president Suma Chakrabarti.
Aliyev stressed the successful development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EBRD.
Aliyev said that despite the drop in oil prices, it does not have a serious impact on the economy due to the diversification of the economy of Azerbaijan.
According to him, the visit of the EBRD provided a good opportunity to discuss prospects of cooperation.
In turn, Suma Chakrabarti said that Azerbaijan is a reliable partner, and its bank attaches great importance to cooperation.
He expressed satisfaction with the projects implemented in Azerbaijan.
The two sides exchanged views on prospects for cooperation in the field of energy infrastructure, information and communication technologies, transport, agriculture and others, the president's site. -02D-
