Baku Does Not Support Trump�s Decision on Jerusalem
Baku / 07.12.17 / Turan: Azerbaijan supports the peaceful settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the official representative of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Hikmet Hajiyev said.
"Azerbaijan is a supporter of the solution of the issue on the basis of the coexistence of two states with the capital of Palestine in East Jerusalem," Hajiyev said.
Azerbaijan calls on all parties involved in this issue to observe the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council, he added.
The day before, US President Donald Trump announced the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Trump also signed a document on the transfer of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. -06D--
