Bayramov's meeting with OSCE Secretary General
Baku/01.12.23/Turan: On Thursday, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a meeting with OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Skopje.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, an exchange of views took place on the main areas of bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and the OSCE and issues of regional and international security.
"The meeting discussed the realities that have arisen in the region in the post-conflict period, the restoration of territories liberated from occupation, the return of internally displaced persons there and the mine threat as the biggest obstacle to the return of people. Issues of peaceful settlement with Armenia were also discussed.
As for the exodus of the Armenian population from Karabakh, it was emphasized that there was no violence against them.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.-16D
