Captive Armenians say they were forced to fight and consider Karabakh to be the territory of Azerbaijan
Baku / 23.10.20 / Turan: Azerbaijani TV channels show footage of interrogation of Armenian prisoners of war, which tell about how they got to the front and the situation in the Armenian army.
The captive Valery Hayrapetyan says that he came to Karabakh by chance from Russia, where he lives and works. In Karabakh, he was mobilized and sent to the front, against his wishes, like many other young people. In the Fizuli region, he came under fire and fled along with eight other soldiers. A day later, they surrendered to the Azerbaijani military.
Another prisoner is Edik Tonoyan from Garni, a former police officer. He worked as a builder, but after the recruiting office took his son, he replaced his son and went to the front. He was captured in Horadiz, as he did not manage to escape after the shelling.
Sergeant Albert Mikaelyan tells how he was trained, and then he was sent to the military unit in Martuni, where he saw Kurdish militants who fought on the side of the Armenians.
All prisoners appeal to the Armenian people with an appeal not to fight and lay down their arms.
The Azerbaijani military also posted a video on Youtube where eight Armenian captives shout "Karabakh - Azerbaijan". -02B-
