Chiefs of General Staff of USA and Russia to Meet in Baku
On February 16, Baku will host a meeting of the Joint Chief of Staff Committee of the United States Joe Dunford with his Russian counterpart, Valery Gerasimov, a source at the US War Department told Turan IA.
According to the same source, the theme of the meeting will be issues of military cooperation between the two countries. The sides will also discuss issues of "communication between the military of the two countries in order to avoid misunderstandings and potential crises," the report says.
Where exactly they will meet and how long it will last, has not been reported.
A source in the Pentagon did not tell Turan IA why Baku was chosen a place for the meeting of the General Staff Chiefs of Russia and the United States.

On January 13, the trial in the case of public activist Nijat Ibrahim continued in the Baku Serious Crimes Court under the chairmanship of Judge Aygun Gurbanova.
