Court of Appeal again arrested Robert Kocharyan
Baku / 25.06.19 / Turan: Robert Kocharyan accused of the March 1 case will be arrested. This decision was announced on Tuesday by Armen Danielyan, judge of the Armenian Criminal Court of Appeal.
Thus, he upheld the complaint of the prosecutor"s office and the injured party, who appealed the decision of the Yerevan court on the release of Kocharyan on personal guarantee of the leaders of Karabakh.
The prosecutor's office asked to cancel the decision of the court of first instance and re-arrest Kocharyan. On May 18, Kocharyan was released from custody.
Kocharyan is accused of usurping power and overthrowing the constitutional system on March 1, 2008, when, under his order, the army and police dispersed the protesters, killing 10 demonstrators. -02D-
