Court session on the case of 14 Armenian soldiers
Baku/25.06.21/Turan: On June 25, the trial of 14 members of the Armenian military captured on December 13 last year near the village of Hadrut in Karabakh continued in the Baku Court for Serious Crimes,
They are charged under Articles 214.2.1, 214.2.3 (terrorism by an organized group), 228.3 (illegal acquisition of weapons and explosives by an organized group), 279.2 (attack by an illegal armed group on enterprises or individuals) and 318.2 (illegal crossing of the state border of Azerbaijan).
It should be reminded that in December 2020, a unit of the Armenian Armed Forces (more than 60 people) that arrived in Azerbaijan after the signing of armistice agreement, was captured in the Hadrut area. The Armenian soldiers carried out attacks on Azerbaijani military and civilians killing several people. Some of the detainees were released in several stages. The rest were divided into three groups and appeared before the court. -02D-
