Defense Ministry: Armenian helicopter attacks Azerbaijani positions
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has submitted graphical analysis of destruction of the Armenian military helicopter on November 12 in the Agdam region. Inographics of the event is available at the site of the Ministry of Defense. The information to the chart says that the assessments and observations at the scene, the study of intelligence and conclusions aviation experts suggest that the helicopters were given command to attack the Azerbaijani positions.
"After completing this task, that is, after the shelling our positions, enemy choppers, maneuvering and covering each other, began to leave the firing zone,” the report says. The message indicates that the flights over the occupied territories of Azerbaijan regarded as a violation of its airspace, and that is why "the Armenian helicopter that opened fire on our positions, was shot down."
According to the infographics on the site, the helicopter was shot right over the positions of Azerbaijani Army. Flying a little, it fell 100 meters from the Azerbaijani positions and 300 meters - from the Armenian. At the same time, a shot from "Igla-S" was opened in the second line of defense with at 2140 meters distance.—0--
