Samir Sharifov: Spending on defense and security will increase by 27%
In 2015, increased funding is planned on of the indicators of economic development, said the Finance Minister Samir Sharifov, speaking on Tuesday in the Parliament on the draft budget next year.
Thus, for research funding is allocated 137 million manat, which is by 3.2% more than in 2014. Another 19.5 million manat have been allocated to the Science Development Fund; 117 million manats will be spent on the development of education, various programs in this area; 19 million manat is planned for information technology in education; 9 million manat will be spent on the acquisition of free textbooks for schoolchildren; and 22 million manat - to repair and construction of school buildings; 44 million manat is allocated to finance the education of young people abroad.
For various healthcare programs have been allocated 195 million manat. Of the for the treatment of oncological diseases - 42 million, diabetes - 36 milliond, TB - 2 million, repair of buildings of the health system - 8 million manat. More than one billion manats will be spent on sports. From the state budget will be allocated money for the First European Sport Games in Baku; 15 million manat is allocated for compensation nonprofit theaters. State aid to refugees, amounting 225 million manat, which is 1% more than this year, will continue, said Sharifov.
For social mortgage for the next year the state will spend 50 million mantas, by 10 million more than in 2014.
Large funds are allocated for national security and military needs, social protection of servicemen - 3 billion 783 million manats, which is by 27% more than in 2014. Support for domestic agricultural producers will cost 596 million manat, or by 33 million more than in 2014.
In 2015, funding the construction and repair work in Baku and the provinces will continue, but Sharifov did not note the amount. -02D-
