During the war, Russia supplied Armenia with weapons that Armenia never dreamed of - Movses Hakobyan
Baku/19.11.20/Turan: Russia during the war provided Armenia with all the necessary weapons and even more, said the former head of the General Staff, Colonel-General Movses Hakobyan at a press conference on November 19 in Yerevan.
"Russia supplied Armenia with weapons, which we could not even dream of, from the very first days of the war, even before the head of the Armenian state contacted the Russian president by phone," Hakobyan added.
In his words, Russia in this conflict behaved as a truly friendly state to Armenia, although the leadership of Armenia behaved not so befitting.
It should be reminded that President Ilham Aliyev has repeatedly stated about illegal arms supplies to Armenia, directly accusing Russia of unilaterally supporting Armenia in the conflict. In particular, he said that dozens of flights were made from Russia to Armenia, which delivered hundreds of tons of various weapons to Armenia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin himself acknowledged military support to Armenia during the war days in an interview with Russian TV on November 17.
In his words, during the war, Russia fully fulfilled its obligations within the framework of military and military-technical cooperation with Armenia.
Hakobyan also accused the information center of the Armenian Defense Ministry of spreading lies about the situation at the front. During the 44 days of the war, lies were spread, which plunged the country into a deep crisis. One of the tasks of the information center was to mislead the enemy. The lie should not exceed 30%. In Armenia, the lie was 100%, he said. -02D-
