Elmar Mammadyarov meets with the President of Bulgaria
Baku / 10.31.18 / Turan: The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, who is visiting Sofia, on Wednesday met with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev. According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the parties expressed satisfaction with the high level of cooperation, highlighting the deepening ties in the field of transport and energy. Radev highly appreciated the opening of direct flights between Baku and Sofia, which was provided for by the Declaration signed by the presidents of the two countries in October 2017.
The delegation headed by Mammadyarov is in Bulgaria for the first meeting of the Strategic Dialogue between the two countries. The delegation includes ministers of energy and transport, communications and information technology. It should be noted that Bulgaria is among the countries where Azerbaijani gas will be transported through the Southern Gas Corridor. -06D--
