Elshad Abdullayev: Ali Hasanov - partner of Guler Akhmedova

Being in exile in France, the former Rector of the International University in Baku Elshad Abdullayev spoke with another eye-opener. This time, he reveals the negative role in the scandal "Gulergate" of the chief ideologist of the authorities, Ali Hasanov.

 "The now arrested ex-MP Guler Akhmedova and her accomplice Sevinj Babayeva said many times that all the money collected for the appointment of deputies was concentrated at Ali Hasanov.

Two days before the arrest of Akhmedova she called Ali Hasanov 61 times, and demanded my money back.

Every time I complained Hasanov, he threatened me through prosecution and organized defamatory publications in newspapers. Looking at it, I had the feeling that there is some kind of a criminal network.

After that, I was told that Ali Hasanov promises to refund my money. This is what said the son of Guler Akhmedova when he came to Brussels, asking to give them time.

 However, in fact, I faced a campaign of blackening and intimidation against myself. Only after that I was obliged to publish the video materials," writes Abdullayev.

Recall that Elshad Abdullayev gave $1 million in 2003 to the presidential administration through Guler Akhmedova and Sevinj Babayeva for his election to parliament. However, he was not elected and the money has never been returned.
